We have developed a range of online first aid courses and online mental health courses, as it was recognised that it does not suit every business to attend a group or trainer-led course.
Our online first aid courses and online mental health courses provide learners with the ability to complete course modules independently, making it an ideal choice for those who prefer self-paced learning and have limited time availability.

How we utilise online learning
All of our online first aid courses and online mental health courses are fully interactive, engaging and feature activities, scenarios, and video presentations. They cater for all learning styles and include practical tools which are easy to learn and easy to recall upon completion of the course.

Online learning FAQs
How can learners access an online training course?
If your employer has booked you onto an online training course, you should have automatically been enrolled. You will also have received an email from our online learning system with your login details and a link to access the course.
If you have been provided with an enrolment key, you can access your course by self-enrolling.
What equipment is need to complete an online training course?
All online first aid courses and online mental health courses are available to complete using a PC, laptop, mobile phone or tablet. They can be completed on a Windows, Chromebook, Mac, or iOS environment with a stable internet connection (at least 512kb per second). Your device should have the capability to play video and audio content through HTML5.
How to receive a certificate?
Upon successful completion of an online course, you will receive an email with access to download your certificate.
How can feedback be provided on the online courses.
Your feedback is valuable to us as it helps us understand what we’re doing well and how we can improve. Your review also helps other customers find out more about Red Cross Training. We welcome customers who have completed a course to leave a Trustpilot review. You can also email our customer care team.
Are are learners assessed on the course?
There is no assessment on the Mental health at work courses. Our aim is to share knowledge and build confidence in support themselves and others in emotionally difficult situations. After successful completion of your course, you will receive an email with a link to access your digital British Red Cross Mental health at work certificate.
The Blended paediatric course features an assessment at the end of the course. On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Paediatric first aid certificate which is valid for three years.
The online Fire marshal training course features continuous assessment throughout the course and learners who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate that is recognised by the Institution for Fire Engineers, which is valid for three years.
What if I need to make changes to a booking?
Our dedicated service team is available to assist with any amendments to your existing bookings such as transferring, cancelling, or substituting attendees. You can change or reschedule your existing booking onto another training course.
